Cp-1 ceramide treatment protein repair system

Found by accident on beautynetkorea.com, is it said to be a hair repair treatment containing multiprotein formula with no amino acids, and ceramide. Which gently and effectively cares for damaged hair. This is essentially a protein treatment, and protein as we al know is what makes hair grow and nails and help us repair our muscles.  But it can also make hair softer and repair environmental damage. Heat damage is only reversed by hydration treatments.
Sadly there was no actual reviews on it, so I went on and did my own research. Many sites claim this to be the number 1 best selling Hair Repair treatment in Korea and I was able to find an English commercial for it. On the site they showed multiple Asian women trying the product and having beautiful results. They even explain how to use it.
But before the review, let's explain what this is supposed to do.
1. Protein and ceramide treatment care.
2. More powerful than treatment and last longer than ampoule (serum).
3. Instant and emergency protein and Ceramide treatment for the rough and severely damaged hair.
4. Hydrolyzed Keratin, Collagen and other contents keep hair healthy and strong.
5. Ceramide protein gives extra radiance to the hair and protect hair from damage.
6. Camellia oil, Argan oil, Jojoba seed oil and other content revives hair's natural radiance and elasticity.
7. Minimized scalp irritation
To use
Wash hair, with only shampoo, remove excess moisture and then place the product directly at your split ends and then work your way up. Living on for 5 to 10 minutes. Then wash through with lukewarm water.
This is a first try at attempting to use this product. I have many other products that claim to do the same thing so I was a little bit skeptical about, you know this actually working. Specially since Asians don't have to have like Spanish course wavy to curly hair. So I didn't expect the results to be as powerful as it would be with someone who has straight and fine to slightly wavy hair. So getting that out of the way, I am a bit impressed. It did not fully repair the damage my hair... obviously. It was just the first try but it did feel like it was doing something. Once I'd work the solution to my scalp, I began to feel a tingling. I did cover my head with a cap like they suggested for better results. Once I actually removed the solution for my scalp, I did feel that my hair was a lot softer. I do have a lot of damage... specially at the bottom of my hair. I'm impressed with the amount of repair that it did it allow the hair to go back to being wavy hair not as Curly as it once was but it's a start. I will continue to use this product and I do recommend this to both of you have serious damage in your hair. I'm so amazed, I even took pictures of before and after. Didn't do much for the puffiness but I have other products for that so I can deal with it.

Hair Hacks

As a Hispanic girl I grew up listening about how important it is to have your hair look beautiful and well put together. And I have suffered through hours of waiting in hair salons, getting over cut, or being disheartened by the outcomes. So I have stopped going to hair salons, and I have suffered through it like a champ.
I completely cut off hair salons as soon as I had entered college, putting that on the back burner.
Why did I do this?
Well I realized I would no longer have the time to do this, sitting down, waiting.
I don't like salon small talk. Yes I am one of those people. I don't like to give my life's story, or personal info. It's weird I know.
I personally don't really care about how my hair looks. Yes that's a shocker. But that's because I have my own way of dealing it.
How to deal with bad hair days/ lazy hair hacks.
- I want long hair and I don't want to wait years, so I get clip in extension. It's all the same at the end of the day. You can get it sown in or whatever you'd like.
- you don't feel comfortable in extensions get a ponytail extension or a bun extension even a wig.  The options are limitless.
- I have very little time in the mornings so hair is in my everyday hairstyle. Yes lady's get yourself an everyday hairstyle.  Mines is a bun, and when I want it to look special I put in an accessory like a flower.

Keeping my hair healthy
- First and foremost I try and avoid heat styling (which is why the everyday bun and the ponytail extensions come in handy)
- I Try to limit hair washing anywhere from 2-3 times a week
-Take in vitamins, they just help, I like biotin for hair, skin and nails
- use conditioners and deep conditioners for softer manageable hair
- Applying oils for shine and health
- Scalp massages for blood circulation
- Around every 3 months take out a scissor and snip off the ends
These are just some things to help those of you whom don't care much for your hair the lazy way

Fun and contoured makeup look

Hello you may have noticed I'm doing different things on my blog lately,  I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as me.
Today I'm going to show everyone an easy to recreate look for an event or everyday use. I personally wear this look on a nearly everyday basis, the exception is blush and eyeshadow.  You can customize this look for your own face shape and skintones.
Let's begin
I start off by washing, toning and moisturizing my face.
Then I get out my primer. I use the Sephora ultra  smoothing primer. I used less than a dime size amount, quickly distributed this all around my face.
then I quickly apply my favorite lip balm. I do this, so when I finish up all of my face  I could have quickly apply my lip product of choice. this is also good if you like to use lip liners or melted the pics but you can try your lips. this is a preventive method as well, against chapped lips or Line your lips.

Then I get my favorite concealer,  The  amazing cosmetics, amazing concealer in medium golden. This is a full coverage concealer that leaves out a natural to doewy finish instead of a dry matte finish. I love to use this around my eyes and at the corners of my nostrils to contract any redness.  you only need the teeny tiny bit.

I followed this by my Sephora Highlight lowlight contour duo in Tan.  I placed the highlighter under my eyes in a semi circle motion, then applied it as a straight line  from the tip of my nose to in-between my brows. I also applied the highlighter a the corners of my lips going up.
After that I go in with my contour a shade, I place this on the hollows of my cheeks and and round the edges of my nose. And the perimeter of my forehead, and the edge of my chin.
Once this is done, I use my bodyography cream blush right on my cheeks.

Now take out a light foundation and a stippling brush and blend away.

Now I use the same stippling brush and use my own diy cream bronzer. Applying this to my temples and cheeks.
Then take a light gold eyeshadow and place it on the inner corners of your eyes, and on the outer take a dusty rose color, and blend both colors to the center.
Follow this with a dark black eyeliner on top with a small wing. Then connect that to the bottom 1/3 of your eye. Follow this with a mascara. Products use,  loreal la Pallette, bodyography Black eyeliner, and Maybelline the rocket mascara.

For the lips I use my favorite lip liner, since my lips are already moisturized.  It's a brick red color with I fill in all my lips with, and I top it the rockator by Benefit.

After this my look is complete, its easy and fun, and I can do this in less than 15 minutes actually, so don't be discourage if it feels overwhelming, it's all about practice.

Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2015

Today I received my first Walmart Beauty box it was $5with shipping included. It is a seasonal subscription, so 4 times a year. This is perfect for those who want to try new affordable things, without getting boxes all the time which can be overwhelming.
I have received this box today and I was very excited actually. They say that your age affects what's in the box, but I'm not too sure if that's true or not. Although people who are 35 and older tend to receive more skincare.
What was in the box+ suggested retail value
- Revlon  ulta HD lipstick in Gladiolus (Full size) retail value $8
-Kev Paves You are beautiful volumizing shampoo and conditioner (foil packs)
-John Frieda sea waves sea salt spray (sample size) around $ 1.40
-One Direction's perfume (9ml sample)
-Aveno lotion sunscreen (1 fl oz sample) retail $2.47
-Nivea nourishing cream (1.5 fl oz sample) retail $2
-Clear scalp and hair therapy complete care dandruff shampoo (sample size) retail $0.35
-Neutrogena healthy volume mascara (sample) value around $4
-Neutrogena face cleanser(sample) around $1
-Dove orangy body wash (sample) around $1.10

Do I like it?
honestly yes, it is affordable and all drugstore things that I will try. I really like, the mini sunscreen and shampoo, mascara, and face wash. Those are all things that are great for on the go, and aren't necessarily makeup related. I do like this box, and all of the items were summer themed.

What not to spurge on with beauty

Save your money, what not to splurge on

Sometimes as people we like to indulge the best of things when they might not be worth it. Here are some things I think are not so necessary to splurge on.

·         Lipsticks/ glosses

o   Lipsticks come in all colors and finishes. The best thing about them is they are easily purchased at the drugstore for less than $10. Why spend $16 on a MAC lipstick when you can buy a similar color for less? People say that it’s all in the formulation and brand which I say ok, but if I can put chopstick on for one dollar and buy extremely pigmented lipsticks from Wet & Wild for $2 my $20 goes a long way. That’s essentially 8 lipsticks and a chap stick. This could also be done for special colors that you know you’re not going to use on a regular basis or a trail color.

·         Eye shadows

o   Once again eyeshadows are everywhere and the best part is that they can be found anywhere. So why pay $10 per eyeshadow or more, when you can buy a quad for $6? Maybelline, Revlon, Milani , ELF, Wet &Wild, and Nyx all have great colors in duos and much more. The most important thing to have is an eyeshadow primer to make sure they last and that’s all. You don’t need to run out and get the Urban Decay palettes especially if you’re not going to use all those colors or if you want to create your own custom pallet. Just get a Z-pallet and have fun creating your own which you can change and it didn’t cost you $60.

·         Blush

o   Blush to me is one of those things I personally don’t use much making it the best thing to buy at a drugstore. Why would spend $28 on a single benefit blush when I can get a $5 ELF blush that I will use just as much. Which won’t hurt as much to replace either. But blushes come in different constancies which may be a bit tricky

·         Mascara/ eyeliner

Image result for loreal mascara o   Mascara is only good for 3 months, before its over run by bacteria. So spending $20 for a mascara is a bit ridiculous. since there is always a similar mascara  for less. Waterproof mascara, black and colored can be found in the drugstore. Plus if you don't finish it all before 3 months it wont be such  a waste. You also can experiment more easily with formulas and brushes without the hefty price. Eyeliners fall into the same category, except they last a little longer.

These are just some items that I think aren't worth spending more than $20 for. Of course to each-their-own, but I know that not everyone is will to spend so much for no reason. One thing I do believe that if you can spend a little more you can find a foundation for you. Shades and skin types play a big factor in foundation. Plus ingredients do make a difference, for example skin clearing, or anti-age and sunscreens can be a concern.
I hope you have enjoyed this please leave a comment on what do you think is not worth getting for a higher price.

Butterflies, flowers by Yuki Yoshihara

I'm going to talk about manga. I know that this is originally a beauty and health focus blog, but I am a big nerd and manga is and has always been a big part of my life. I love reading and this crosses the spectrum from readers to visual learners. Plus it's goes to show people that anime and graphic novels/ manga aren't all aimed at children and teens. There are a lot of rated-R Mangas out there for different reasons.
Let us begin;
Yuki Yoshihara makes a lot of beautiful romances Mangas.  I can't even attempt to praise her work. She's one of my most guilty pleasures when it comes to reading manga. The style of artistry is beautiful not too cartoonish but not too overly detailed. The plot is usually over the top but in a good way and all I can say is it's beautiful, all her work is beautiful. I had the pleasure of reading alot of her work and I would recommend it for all of those people who love romance and comedy. But its not just that it's a little bit of sadness, backstory, drama, everything a good story should have. She illustrates it, creates a dialogue that's helps you see 2D characters in a 3D format.
This story butterflies and flowers is about a girl named Choko who's in love with her ex servant, who become her boss. She struggles from wealth and admiration into barely meeting ends meet. It's just such a beautiful story not too far into fiction, the way I see it, it's more like a lifetime manga. Involves; sexual awakening, royalty,  loyalty and so much more. I really think as an artist and as a writer she deserves a chance perhaps if you're more into the more modern shoujo manga look the art style will appeal to you. But if you're more of the old fashioned not too cartoonish more humanistic or as they say more of a comic look this would definitely appeal to you.

what is a Sleeping Pack, Night Mask, and a Moisturize

What is a sleeping pack?
A Sleeping Pack is the last sleep of a good skincare regimen. The western states call it a Night Cream.  Sleeping packs are pretty much the last boost of nutrients and seal in all the skincare. its basically the final layer of protective paint on a wall.
The difference is that Sleeping Packs a night cream and a moisturizer is that even though they are all similar and have small differences will be explained.
 Moisturizer vs. Western Night Creams
Moisturizers are broad concept mainly aimed at all skin types and all ages. Its only goal it to provide moisture to the skin, where its day or night. Can contain different ingredients to target specific audience such acne prone, or redness ect. Night creams are aimed more for the older generations around 35 and older, they mainly focuses on anti-aging and hydration. They tend to be expensive, but drugstore brands like Neutrogena.
Night cream vs Sleeping pack
Nigh creams seal in skincare and tend to be on the thinker side because of their aim towards anti-aging. Also tend to be costly, it can be a cold cream or an expensive moisturizer that is tacky. A Sleeping pack is aimed at ages 13 and older, there are ones for all skin types and skin concerns. There are thick and thin packs in creams in a large price range. In fact I own 3 different sleeping packs for different concerns. They come in different packaging and allow more versatility in taste.

Diy powder to cream makeup

Hello everybody, here in the USA it's summer which can be a difficult makeup season. Due to the heat the sweat can put people in an uncomfortable position of perhaps not looking your best. This is the ironic part because this is the season you are outside and more people get to see you,  but the heat and humidity doesn't allow for the best of you.
Why cream?
Well cream is a preferable constancy of makeup in the summer even though it can be used all year long. Cream based products tend to be more water resistant and allow faster application. This also limits the amount of tools necessary, which can be nice when you're on the go. This process can be apply to eyeshadow, foundations, blushes, highlighters ect.

Diy powder to cream adjustable bronzer.
1. Pick your bronzer whether it's pressed powder or loose powder place it in a container which allows movement since you will be mixing this.
2. Make sure all the powder is crushed until it's loose and easy to move.
3. Decide if you want it darker, later, or the same. This will affect what you will be using.
4. a. If you decide you want your father to be the same shade just add a clear lotion or Vaseline just a small amount, mix and add more if needed.
     b. If you needed to be lighter add a cream with a whiter bass, or a lighter liquid foundation, even sunscreen is usable. Start with a small amount and add more if necessary.
     c. It's darker, add your own liquid foundation, or a darker foundation and mix.
5. Wait around 2 minutes after initial mixing and mix again just to make sure there are no clumps of powder.
6. Test the new product on your hand, place it in a nice container. When satisfied dip your finger or or brush and spread onto bronzing areas as you wish.

The reason why I decided to do this was because I wanted to experiment with different types of makeup in the summer. This is just the most effective way to use makeup that doesn't make you feel gunky. Instead of layering so much powder, which mixes with the oils and the sweating just does not feel right.  Plus this is the perfect way to get a adjustable bronzer that is tailored to your specific needs because not everyone is tan, or very pale or dark, this way everyone can get what they need. Or turn a unexpensive bronzer into a awesome cream product.

Here are some pictures of my own cream bronzer.  I use my Au Naturale luminous  bronzer.
