Tony Moly Pandas White Cream

Tony Moly Pandas white Cream

Image result for tony moly panda white magic creamDisclosures; these are my personal opinions, I do not mean to offend or discourage anyone. I am only review the products not the social idealism behind them.
Unit price $8

This cutely packaged cream is much like Secret key Snow white pack. I am currently in the process of testing the original formula. The whole point of this cream is to temporarily whiten your skin and though time, with regular use it will whiten the skin 1 to 2 shades.  This is not much different than a Self-tanner, for those whom will automatically say it’s racist. It’s much like the American concept of tanning or having radiantly tan skin, in Asia its beautiful whiten skin. But that aside I feel complexed about this product.

Here’s why:

Pros

·         This was affective in lightening the skin.

·         Does brighten the skin

·         Removed the appearance of all hyperpigmentation

·         Gave the face a completely even skin tone

·         Made the face look soft and skin look smooth among first application.

·         Can be layered for an even more dramatic effect

Cons

·         Thick feeling cream

·         Causes breakouts after 1 hour of use

·          Hard to blend

This contained some toxins that can be harmful. Personally it works but I don’t really like it much. And I wouldn't put personally use this on my face I do like this for the elbows and knees.

3b unboxing

This months 3b didn't seem interesting open first glance I felt a bit disappointed at first until I realized that they weren't bad at all. I have had a chance to try them all and Ill give you my opinion on each one.

What's in the bag:

Skin Food Argan oil shampoo

What they say;
This miracle Shampoo contains nourishing argan oil and silk to transform dry, overly processed, damaged hair into healthy and shiny tresses. it permeates deep into the hair follicles to moisturize without weighing hair down. To use wet hair and scalp with lukewarm water. Massage into hair and rinse off thoroughly before following with conditioner.
My response:
At first I was a bit disappointed just because I didn't expect to see a shampoo but honestly its not ad t all. it has this fresh fruit smell that's not childish. it also foams really well and leaves a fresh clean scent behind.

Etude House precious mineral BB cream

what they say
BB creams are short for blemish balm and offer hydration coverage and the protection in one. This Etude House BB moisturizes, soothes, and covers any skin blemishes. Start with a small amount and easily layer for increase coverage. This BB Cream is one of our favorites because it's easy to apply, blends well, and is lightweight on the skin. Apply to face using a foundation brush or simply with your fingers.
My response;
I wasn't too happy about the bb cream, now if any of you have been reading my post, you know that I fall under the medium tan to dark spectrum depending on the foundation. But generally speaking for those whom use mac I am around a  NW28. So the color was off but the size was super small but a decent tester I guess. Beside the color and size it did provide a nice amount of coverage that didn't make my skin look too dry or dewy. It does have a slight powdery scent and lasted around 6 hours. you barely notice its there and overall its not bad at all. I think ill just mix this in with a dark foundation to get the perfect color and coverage.

Its skin mango white lip and eye remover tissue

What they say
Mango steen extract I'm a green tea extract, on extract, olive oil, and aragon oil or come by and ended gentle makeup remover to take off makeup after a long day, even mean the toughest a waterproof mascara doesn't have a chance. Wipe off makeup and follow up with a facial cleanser
My response
This is so good. like I mean really , really good. It wiped off my lipstick and foundation not my mascara but that's ok. The wipe itself was a great quality one that was resistant and they were very moist. the smell was beautifully fruity as well.

A'PIEU Finger blusher

this cream blush is a great for achieving a natural and rosy flush to the cheeks that just makes you glow. After applying BB cream or foundation that is small amount to your cheeks with your fingers or blend out using a flat-topped stippling brush
My response;
I was not very pleased this color fade on me so hard-core its sad. the color its self was this pretty baby pink with a little coral. I had to use multiple layers to just get it to be seen. but it did work as a lip color. so I decided to mix it with the foundation sample and it worked great together.

The value of the products in full size & extra info:

Skin food, argan oil shampoo $12-15
Etude House precious mineral BB cream comes in 3 shades light to medium light $15-25
Its skin mangowhite lip and eye remover tissue $3-7

What is an Essence? Secret Key Snail Repairing Essence

Secret key has slowly become my most trusted skincare brand. This was the item that started everything. When I first started researching Korean skincare something odd to me that came up was essences. I had no idea what this was, or why so many people are obsessed with them? So I started researching what this was and why so many people swear by it.

Essence is another version of a serum, which can be thicker. The essence should seal the serum and give it a little boost, by active ingredients to help the skin provide cellular turnover. It's much like a serum after a serum, to help the skin absorb the ingredients and boost effectiveness.  That's what I understood from all of my research.  I bought this in January and have been using this everyday twice a day ever since.

I decided to venture out of Tony moly and try another well-known brand. Secret Key, and they are super common and recommended. I opted to use there snail essence, since it seemed very interesting and I've never tried anything like that.

Secret Key New Snail Repairing Essence 60ml or 2 fluid ounces cost $6-8 USD

The claims were

1. Brightening repairing essence.

 2. It can be applied on sensitive skin.

 3. While it increases skin elasticity, it brightens skin tone.

 4. Moisturizing and skin protection.

 5. Soothing & Brightening effect.

How to use

Apply appropriate amount and smooth over it. Apply more amount when using after evening facial wash. It is more effective dab 1-2 times more.

I was nervous that it would break me out, but it had a decent list of ingredients like; rice bran extract, pig placenta (for cellular turnover), and macadamia seed oil. To my surprise it didn’t break me out, but it did soften my skin and helped lower the little bumps I had on my cheeks. I know the directions said to use this straight after washing and toning but I like to add a serum for extra hydration, or a facial oil but that’s a personal choice. If you have oiler skin, just using the essence might be exactly what you need. It doesn’t make you oiler, or even feel greasy. Though you must warm the essence before applying it. If you have dry skin a light hydrating serum before or after can help.

Overall I love the fact that it has a pump, I love is gel like texture. I also enjoy the refreshed feeling on the skin. And over 5 months you can definitely notice more hydrated, plump looking skin. Also a brightness the complexion evening thing out. At first I wasn’t sure about the texture but after a while I grew accustom to it. And I am so glad I did. This has made me venture out and try more products from their Snail line.

Do You Need a Toner? Witch Hazel ? Tony Moly Toner?

Toners

Toners are the understated and misunderstood step in a good skincare. What a toner is supposed to do is remove excess oil or makeup that is left over after your usual cleansing routine. You can also think about it like this; a toner is the last part of cleansing and the first part of replenishing. It’s a multitasking product that can be used on the body as well.

Why do I need a toner?

Well a toner is not only useful in the removal of oils/makeup it also removes left over cleaner. Left over cleanser can do more harm than good. Left over cleansers can clog pores, dry out the skin, and even leave a film over your face, blocking moisture from penetrating. Depending on the form of toner you get it can be a multipurpose one. For example, it can be depuffing, or disinfectant or even moisturizing. You can chose whether or not it will have key ingredients such as hyaluronic acid for moisture, witch hazel for disinfecting, remove swelling and tightening, or vitamin C for brightness and an even skin tone.

All of this provides a clean smooth base for any additional makeup or skincare products. As well as help acne prone people to prevent the formation of more acne.

A toner can also prevent pre-mature aging. Depending on the one you chose… you can chose one that can help tighten the skin. The effects won’t be dramatic but over time a difference will be noticeable.

What toners do I use?

-          Pure Witch Hazel

-          Tonymoly Floria Nutra-Energy toner

Pure which hazel

Witch hazel is a plant that grows wildly. It’s well known in many cultures as a disinfectant.

·         Acne fighter

·         Eye depuffer

·         Helps the appearance of varicose veins.

·         Can help the heal bruises

·         Treat razor bumps

Green tea? Beauty and health

Green tea is known as very common health drink, more popular in Asian countries. But teas in general are very common and are used for calming people down, or as a warm beverage for the sick. They are also a healthy alternative to sugar and chemical filled juices and sodas.
Many people don’t really think about caffeine they usually jump for coffee but most teas contain caffeine. Green tea contains half as much caffeine as a regular cup of coffee and it’s just as quick and easy to make; which can be served cold or hot but the benefits are amazing.
Green tea is a calming agent with caffeine that takes a while to kick in. So it will give you a natural boost throughout your day instead of a jolt of energy that will lead to a crash. They also offer decaffeinated green tea for those whom don’t like caffeine as well as a variety of flavors.
Why is green tea so good?

  •         Starting with the basics it provides hydration in the body
  •      Is a calming agent which helps start your day more relaxed
  •      You can add different ingredients for specific concerns, Such as lemons for digestion, oranges for energy and more
  •         Can reduce sugar spikes/ replace sugary drink/ control your own sugar intake
  •        Helps prevent heart related issues like, high blood pressure, high cholesterol , and congestive heart failure
  •       Regulation of stress levels which can prevent acne in young adults
  •          Helps battle against depression

Green tea also contains EGCG which helps the production of the memory containment due to its increase to the happy triggers in your brain on the frontal lobes.
Beauty Benefits

  •         Green tea can help the metabolism to flow more consistently (and it works for me)
  • Can help give a natural boost of hydration on oily skin. Take some green tea cool it and place it in a spray bottle container and spray on liberally
  •
  •     Can help with puffy or wrinkly under eyes. Once you finished your green tea take the tea bag what till it’s not too hot and apply it on closed eyes for 1-2 minutes and switch this will help the blood flow and allow de-puffing and smoothing.
  •     Great DIY Exfoliator for face and body. Take any face cream or cream  in general rip open a bag of green tea mix for desired texture and on wet skin scrub away.

these are only a few benefits and uses for green tea. I hope you guys will try it out for yourselves

DIY Hair Mask for Growth and Repair

I have recently bleached the bottom of my hair to have more ombre effect. but doing this can seriously damage the hair so this is what I do after i have  bleached my hair.

Hair growth mask
Ingredients
-egg and 2 tea spoons of  your favorite beauty  oil.
mix the egg and oil until it becomes bubbly. Do not use any heat just mix it, mix it and mix it.
This helps hair growth because of the egg which has a lot of protein. Protein is what helps us grow our nails and hair, the oil just helping it sink in better. This will not smell appealing at all but eggs are good at bringing up moisture.

For repairing bleach hair
Ingredients
2 table spoons ofcoconut oil, 1/2 banana, 1ounce of milk or coconut cream, and table spoon honey .
Mash up all these ingredients together make sure that it's not too clumpy and leave it out for 2 to 3 minutes until it becomes more of a creamy consistency.
All these ingredients help promote softness and strength into the hair. Also smells really nice and give it a few minutes.
Once those two arr already, apply the hair growth mask directly to the scalp avoiding the ends of your hair. I suggest parting the hair and then applying the mixture like a normal hair dye. for the repairing mask apply with your hands directly onto your hair specifically focusing on the ends and not letting you go farther than an inch from scalp. You can leave these on for as long as you wish just not more than 2 hours because you'd be overdoing it. I leave this mixture on for 45 minutes cover my head with a shower cap and a hat so the mixture doesn't go anywhere. Within this time I wash up everything I've used and watch TV while drinking 2 cups of green tea. Once that's over take a shower as you normally would, wash your hair and apply conditioner. you should feel your hair be very soft and hydrated.

I would suggest doing this a maximum of once every two weeks. Only because there's no point of overdoing things and possibly damaging your hair. But you can apply oil as frequently as you wish.
