Alien By Thierry Mugler Review

Theirry Mugker is well known for her perfume Angle, this is her latest addition and I has made a serious impression. Marketed in 2005, this perfume is all the rage now in days.  But before I give you my opinion, I want to let you know what the notes are and who they are aiming for.

The notes 
Solar Accord, Jasmine Sambac, Green Notes, Cashmeran, Vanilla, Transparent Amber
Who they are aiming for:
Mysterious ladies, whom still like to be soothing and majestic.

My notes
I smell white flowers/ jasmines, some woods scent with a hint of spice and amber for a little sweetness.
Who its for:
 I think its for the mysterious but still sweet people. Those whom have an edginess to them, because it is simple but the simplicity in the notes mix with he body chemistry which can make the scent loud  or soft.

Do I like this?
Yes and no. here are my reasoning. I love the sweetness in amber, and I love the woody notes but for some reason my body doesn't project the smell as well as others. On me the scent fades in 2 hours leaving me with a weird vanilla scent left over for an hour. So needless to say reapplying can be quite the hassle especially when 2 oz cost $120.  But not everyone has the same experience and that doesn't mean I don't like the smell.  So I use it when I go out. I just recommend getting a sample to see how it works for you.

My experience
What I smell when applying:
The first thing I smell is Spices and flowers. Immediately after  I begin to smell The amber and powder then it fades into a citrus scents but still holding a little bit of musk to it.

What do I think about it?
It is a beautifully sexy smell. Its alluring alright and it is long lasting (around 7 hours wear). Its made for The sexy mature women, for the evening. NOT for the Club at least in my opinion.   It Smells better with cool temperatures from what I have experienced.

Why others may not like this?
 It may smell to sweet on people (if you know your body tends to make things smell sweet you might not like it).
Its strong on others like myself
but others don't take well, so the smell maybe too faint.

Manic Panic review

Manic panic is a well known brand in the Hair Coloring industry. Why? Because they have all kinds of crazy fun colors from the yellowest of blondes to the brightest pinks, blues and purple. They are also vegan products packaged in recycled plastic, so its very ecofriendly.  They have 2 different formulas, Manic Panic Amplified Cream Formula and Manic Panic Semi-Permanent Color Cream. I will be reviewing one

Manic Panic Semi permanent Color cream Rockabilly Blue
$10.40 for 4fl oz

After bleaching my black hair into a light brown, I washed it, didn't use any conditioner and semi dried it. I took Black gloves and applied Rockabilly Blue.
This is not a very thick formula which an make the process a bit messy
Thus also stains any surfs and must be removed with bleach.
The fading began within 2 weeks, with regular shampoo and conditioner.
Can be added to conditioner to be a softer color/ pastel.
Doesn't have a chemically smell

Would I recommend it?
Yes, it contains a lot of product and the colors are so much fun. Just make sure to have gloves and bleach

Tea Rose Perfume by Perfume workshop

Tea rose is a classical perfume. Doesn't cost much for a 4oz bottle, can be found from $10- $33 dollars. This was introduced in 1975, so needle to say its ben around for a while.
The notes are;
 - Rose
- Musk

This is a true rose scent, literally smells like freshly cut roses with a little hint of woods. Its  comes in a black casing and the perfume itself is a glass container and its a vey yellow color.
Best uses:
- daily depending on age and personality.
        I think this is good for people whom like a strong smell. Perfect for a long day at work. this is not a fruity scent so its great for mature women or sophisticated young women
- Night out
         Don't use too much because the smell lingers
- Layered
          You can use a powdery scent to weaken the Rose scent

Its made o be used in the evening.

Why people dislike this?
- it is a strong smell
- might no mix well, with those whom wear fruity scents
- is made for strong bodies whom tend not to keep aromas pure
- it relatively  one note scent

Walmart beauty box fall 2015

Walmart beauty box is $5, and is delivered 4 times a year. It features drugstore beauty and lifestyle sample size items.
What was in it?
• the first thing I noticed was Revlon Ultra HD lipstick,  which is a repeat item in the same color. Which annoyed me but hey, I might as well save it for Christmas for someone.
•Sublime bronze travel size by L'Oréal.  I'm actually excited to try this after my Jergens self tanning moisturizer worked so well. I hope this lives up to that. But overall excited
•Dove advance care deodorant.  I personally have a hit or miss with dove deodorants. But glad to have a travel size you never know when you'll need it.
•Aussie mega hairspray travel size. Honestly I receive so many mini hair sprays in my life that I don't think I could ever get through them. But that's honestly bc I use them once every 6 months. Still OK with it.
•Act mouth wash travel size. I am  interested to see how it works
•Schick hydro silk razor. I can always use a razor and we'll enough it's a 5 blade razor. So happy to see how it works
• Single use Bioré self heating mask. This it's cool it's taken from the Japanese steam mask idea. Where a mask will heat up without the use of outside forces to help extract impurities. So I'll do a blog on that
•Nivea extended moisture lotion in a foil packet. Which I will use, because Nivea is a good brand.
•Crest white Polish professional 2 step whitening. I am more than excited to try this. I don't have very yellow teeth but I am a constant tea drinker. So it night help brighten my smile. And this is a foil packet with both formulas.
• last items was 2 foil packets for the new Jergens wet skin  moisturizer in coconut and monoi.

The good thing it they also provide you with coupons you can use. So overall I'm well satisfied.

Mizon is a well-known company. Not as popular as Tony Moly or Etude house, but they really made themselves popular on the Snail trend. In fact the most recommended cream is the Mizon All in One Repair Cream. It has slowly began to populate American retail stores. For example you can now purchase them locally from Urban Outfitters.  What makes mizon different from all the other snail creams (which there are many), is all of the benefits.

But before we get into that, let’s look at what they claim.

1.       92% snail secretion filtrate, (that is the slime snails leave behind but it’s filtered from anything that could be bad for the skin). This aims to recover sun damage skin.

2.       Wrinkle care and prevention, by using Adenosine found in many anti-aging products including Neutrogena night sleeping mask.

3.       Helps fade red and dark spots. This aims to even out skin tone.

4.       Tighten pores. By preventing and abundance of sedum (which is oils). Using Green tea extract.

5.       Provide nutrients and hydration. This contain hyaluronic acid to retain moisture and other products.

6.       Protect skin from other stimulus. Using Hydrated vegetable oil by soothing sensitive skin

7.       Making skin more elastic. They aim to bring back a bounce to the skin and improving skin softness.

To recap it’s supposed to be this all in one miracle for all skin types from oily to dry and sensitive. That will even out skin tone, hydrate and return skin to a healthier state.

My experience

I really enjoy using this cream. It’s not thick or oily it’s a real gel consistency that absorbs into the skin quickly. That said I also felt like it did reduce oil production so before I applied this I used a light facial oil to retain moisture. It does help calm down irritated spots, I would know, I’ve had a couple of those. Its an overall great cream but not a miracle product for the best results use every day twice a day after washing, toning and applying your serum. If you feel like this is not enough moisture use another moisturizer on top. I do recommend this.
